The Midwest Goat Producers is an organization of goat owners from Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Michigan. It was established in January 2006 to meet the needs of producers of all goat breeds. The group provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas about goat production; coordinates marketing options; serves as a source of information about goats; and works with 4-H, FFA, and local agencies to promote goat production. The $20 annual membership is open to anyone. More information about the organization is available on the Association's Web site.
