QUESTION
I have a market ewe lamb about 125 lbs who is seems to have a slight vaginal infection with slight drainage and swelling and is beginning to vaginally prolapse a slight amount. We've had her on 2 rounds of Baytril, but a couple of days after the end of the medication, the infection/prolapse returns. Ideas?

ANSWER

I would suggest that you ship the lamb as soon as possible. Check the withdrawal of Baytril and make sure you are OK there before you ship her. It may be difficult for you to ship her as I do not know how far it is to a sale barn or how many other lambs \ you have that are the same weight but if you ship her you won't have that problem to deal with any more.
