QUESTION
Can wet corn gluten feed be fed as the only forage (in place of corn silage) for lactation and the last 6 weeks of gestation. Or what would be the max it could be fed during laction?


ANSWER

It is recommended that wet corn gluten feed not be fed as the only roughage source Usually it is recommended that you feed no more than 30% of the dry matter of the diet in the form of wet corn gluten meal.
