QUESTION
I have a problem with undigestible feed in the manure of broiler chick start in the third day of brooding period. In my opinion this related to temperature or humidity. After that happened, at the tenth or twelveth days the chicks begin to have a respiratory problem ending with high mortality. My farm is located in the 1000 meters altitude, and have range temperature between 15oC in the early morning and 33oC in the afternoon. Humidity is about 40-60%. Type of housing is open sided house. I'm really need your suggestion with my problem.

ANSWER

If you have any way to cool the building I would suggest doing that. Perhaps you should get some mixing fans or place some fans at the top of the building to pull air up from below. Also try sprinkling water on roof which may help. 33°C is not that high, but I believe mixing fans would help a lot
