Dixon Spings Agricultural Center Open House
The Dixon Springs Agricultural Center (DSAC) is a field research station operated by the University of Illinois. Departments in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences and the College of Veterinary Medicine conduct research at DSAC. Research is conducted on numerous crops including agricultural row crops, forages, fruits and vegetables. Livestock research is conducted at DSAC with both beef cattle and swine. Forest resource management information and educational opportunities are available from the Illinois Forest Resource Center.
During our Field Day and Open House we will have numerous tours of the research being conducted by the University of Illinois at the Dixon Springs Agricultural Center. In addition to the DSAC staff, Extension Educators and State Extension Specialists will be on hand to provide information.
